Who we are

Overmars Septic is built on a foundation of experience, trust, and a long-standing commitment to quality septic service in Eastern Nova Scotia. The company is led by Mark Overmars, who quite literally grew up in the industry. His father operated a respected septic business in Antigonish County beginning in 1987, serving homeowners and businesses throughout the region for over three decades.

After the family business was sold in 2020, Mark continued to work in the industry, staying on as General Manager for the new owners. With hands-on knowledge in every aspect of septic system service—pumping, inspections, maintenance, repair, and customer care—he brings decades of real-world experience to the work. In 2025, Mark launched Overmars Septic to return to his roots and build a company of his own, focused on reliable, honest, and professional service.

Overmars Septic proudly serves Antigonish, Guysborough, and surrounding counties, offering septic pumping, certified inspections for real estate transactions, drainfield revitalization, and repair solutions—all backed by modern equipment and a reputation for doing the job right.
